Hello parents!!
Thanks for coming to check out the blog!

During this year, when your child is in my classroom, I will be using the blog to communicate with you all. I want you all to be involved in what happens in the classroom, so that we can work together to make this year awesome for the students. I am really excited about what we will be doing this year.  First things first, though.  I need to get to know you and your children! 

I was named Laura after my great grandmother, who was a teacher, so this profession runs deep in my veins. I love to learn and when I am not working you can constantly find me reading and "googling" interesting facts. Learning is one of the many things that bond us as humans. Every single human has the capacity to learn, but what makes us diverse is what we choose to learn and how we learn it. So, as we all get together for this learning adventure, I want to know as much as I can about you and your students.

This blog is where I will post our objectives of the week, daily praise reports, and other various announcements about events.  So, it will be beneficial to you all to check it weekly.
